To begin the puppet build I opened a Modeler file that contained the puppet parts.
Next I assembled the head which was split into two halves, to to this I selected the top half of the head and moved it down so that it was touching the bottom half of the head. I then selected the whole head and pressed "t" to select the move tool. Once selected I moved the head into the 12'o clock position on the body.
One the first head was in position I selected it and copy, pasted a second head into the same position. I then pressed the "y" key to select the rotate tool and pressed "n" to get the numerics up. I told the head to rotate 72 degrees on the y axis and then repeated this process until I had 5 heads evenly spread apart.
I used this same process for the arms and the legs as I also needed 5 of each.
After this I surfaced each part of the 5 legs and the 5 arms by selecting the shape and pressing "q". I gave each surface a different name to represent what it was to make it easier fo me to distinguish which objects I have selected.
